Nothing Toulouse the new band led by Julian Joyce Nass (drums) presents a diverse program spanning jazz, pop, and genre-defying territory, joined by Lucas Grottenthaler (bass), Paul Straznicky (guitar), Alexander Vounelakos (keys), and Elena Schäfer (vocals). Tightly structured songs meet extended solo passages; jazz harmonies blend with pop accessibility without compromising artistic integrity. With songs touching on eternity, optimistic nihilism, and even an ancient Greek colony in Sicily, Nothing Toulouse explores the nonsensical and meaningful aspects of life in all their varied shades.
