LA SÉCURITÉ is a collective whose art punk is equal parts: jumpy
beats, off-kilter arrangements and minimalistic melodic hooks; now
for the first time in Vienna. Continuing to meander the fringes of punk,
new (and no) wave and krautrock after their incredible debut record
Stay Safe! (Mothland), they are now setting the stage for a new influx
of D.I.Y. sonic gems. Teaming up with Simon Raymonde’s seminal
British imprint Bella Union, they are releasing their sophomore long-
player Bingo!
BILLI MPEG is a four-piece band from Vienna whose sound lies
somewhere between driving post-punk, raw indie rock and haunting
nostalgia. With a blend of melancholy and energy, the group creates
a sound that feels both composedly-cool and emotional.
In this way, the band provides a soundtrack for nights spent partying,
lost conversations and the feeling of being stuck somewhere between
a new beginning and a standstill.
