Daniel Tortoledo & The Sound Machine + Parla Soleil + Somerset Barnard
Doors: 19:00
Start: 19:30
An evening where globetrotter troubadour spirit, R&B, soul, and rock and roll come together
under one roof. Three local acts from different backgrounds, united by a shared drive to express
what they do best on stage.
The night kicks off with Somerset Barnard, a globetrotter troubadour blending delta blues, Tex
Mex, and Aussie roots. His travels have taken him from Senegalese village streets to
international stages, with stops including a Bollywood film and time as a Sherpa in the
Himalayas. His music carries that wide open journey.
Followed by Parla Soleil, where R&B, neo soul, and oriental influences meet in a warm flowing
sound. A bridge between East and West, their music blends electronic, organic, and traditional
instruments such as the darbuka, creating a sound that opens dialogue across cultures.
Closing things out, Daniel Tortoledo & The Sound Machine, led by Venezuelan American singer
songwriter Daniel Tortoledo, based in Vienna. Since leaving New York City in 2022, he has
made his mark locally with a band inspired by artists like The Kinks, David Bowie, The Beatles,
Blur, and The Strokes. Their sound blends Americana warmth with a bold multicultural edge,
known for infectious melodies and energetic performances.
Three live sets, three perspectives, one shared stage.
