Honahlei is an indie folk duo formed by Costa Rican singer Michelle Gonzalez and Austrian musician Kevin
Etheridge. Their music blends rich harmonies, heartfelt lyrics, and warm acoustic textures, creating a sound that
feels both fresh and familiar. The name Honahlei draws inspiration from the mythical land of “Honah Lee” in the 1960s classic Puff the Magic Dragon, reflecting the duo’s sense of wonder, nostalgia, and timelessness. Since launching Honahlei in 2024, they have already gathered millions of streams, topped the Soundportal
Charts for two consecutive weeks, and toured Europe as support for Sean Koch. With their highly anticipated second album arriving in December 2025, Honahlei is preparing for their first European headline tour in 2026, bringing their growing catalogue of timeless songs to the live stage.
