Chéri Chéri’s story began with a School of Rock-inspired audition poster put up by frontwoman Celia Marie on a lamppost near Notre Dame in Paris. Four musicians answered the call, and after countless nights of songwriting and rehearsals, Chéri Chéri recorded their debut EP, „Don’t You Think It’s Funny“ with legendary producer Gordon Raphael (The Strokes) in Leeds. Followed by a EU-Tour with sold out shows in cities like Berlin, Freiburg and Lyon, the band is looking forward to the Summer season, supporting Lenny Kravitz and playing Festivals like Haldern Pop (DE), Retro CTrop (FR) or Boire la tasse (FR). Inspired by the spirit of Led Zeppelin and the punk poetry of Patti Smith, they deliver that unmistakable “je ne sais quoi” that we could only wish for from a French-American band. A wild, vintage punch straight from the Paris rock scene!
