On November 19th, Elsdeer (DE), MUEL (AT), and Latest Sun (USA) will take the stage in an intimate night of transient and aetherial Folk music. Bringing together three emerging bands in the European scene, the concerts will explore themes of exploration, liminality, and the edges of perception.
First, Latest Sun, a new, Vienna-based Folk duo, plays a mix of self-crafted songs, interpreted ballads and contemporary folk. Tried and true sounds of banjo and guitar will meet the angelic voice of Rebecca Lynn Sprague and gentle croon of Ian Strahn. Next is emergent dream-Folk project, Elsdeer, which seamlessly blends ethereal melodies and heartfelt storytelling, taking the listener on an evocative exploration of longing, connection, and discovery. Lastly, experimental-Folk/Trance group MUEL, driven by finger-picked acoustic guitar, trumpet,synths, electric guitar and driving double bass, explores the beauty of being in-between – of not yet arriving, and still moving forward.
